How to Create a Large Canvas Print

Posted on November 25, 2023

You’ll see canvas prints in restaurants, retailers and offices, because they work well to accent any space without being overly expensive. They’re also a great way to display family photos that don’t require traditional framing.

We offer a variety of canvas sizes to suit every taste and room aesthetic. Choose a small canvas print to fill smaller spaces with family photos or momentos from travel, or opt for an 8×10 as part of a multi canvas print layout in larger rooms. Or go big with a 24×36 print that works nicely in living rooms or even as wall art for bedrooms.

Choosing the Right Photo

Whenever you create a large canvas print, it’s important to ensure that the image you select is high enough resolution to reproduce well at this scale. Ideally, your image should be saved in a JPEG or PNG format with 200 DPI or higher to avoid becoming pixelated.

Once your digital photo is printed on premium canvas, we hand stretch it into a patented warp-resistant frame and ship it to you ready to hang. These frames are made from solid poplar wood with a 1.5 inch-thick bars and support struts placed diagonally in all four corners to keep your art taut and prevent any sagging over time.

I am what you could call a permanent traveler. I’m in a constant need for a change of scenery. An almost animal instinct to see what’s going on elsewhere, to open my eyes to a new world, far from my native Spain. It was an epiphany: I belonged somewhere else and somewhere else was everywhere.
